During his bi-weekly briefing on military operations across the country in Abuja on Thursday, Musa Danmadami, the Director of Defence Media Operations, referred to the call for an interim government by certain individuals in the country as both unfortunate and unconstitutional. He claimed that those demanding an interim government were being mischievous, emphasizing that the constitution does not allow for an interim national government. Danmadami also stated that the military was ready to provide support for the remaining election in two states where the elections were inconclusive, and was working diligently to maintain peace and security in the country. He urged the public to assist the military in fulfilling its responsibilities.
