Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi has been rewarded for an outstanding season in England with Leicester City Young Player of the Year award.
The midfielder joined the King Power Stadium outfit in January 2017 and has grown into an essential part of the team.
Ndidi impressed in his first Premier League season and was named the club’s best young talent in 2016-17.
And he has gone one better this season, beating Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray to take the award for the second time.
The 21-year-old has made 33 appearances to date in the league to help Claude Puel’s men stay ninth with 44 points from 35 matches.
Also, he leads the Premier League top of tackle charts with 138 tackles ahead of Idrissa Gueye and N’Golo Kante.
However, he was beaten by Harry Maguire to the Players' Player of the Season and Player of the Season honours.
