Nigerian UK-based couple organises medical outreach, treats 300 patients in Lagos community

The maiden edition of the Abosede Aina Foundation Medical Outreach was launched in Toga village in Badagry, Lagos state, on July 22, 2022.

The medical outreach last two days, July 22 and 23. Beneficiaries, numbering close to 300, comprised of men, women and children in and around the village. The outreach was a huge success.

On ground to attend to the people were three medical doctors, two opticians, four nurses and several other personnel who volunteered to help. The Foundation gave out many reading glasses and medications after proper diagnosis.

The Abosede Aina Foundation, a non-governmental organisation was founded and being funded by UK-based medical doctor husband and wife, Dr & Mrs Durojaiye. Both of them have been in medical practice for almost four decades in London. According to the couple, the outreach will be a continuous exercise and they plan to take it to all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.

Head of the community, Amosu and the people were very happy and appreciative.
