Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, has initiated legal action against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, over an alleged debt of N120 million owed to him for legal services rendered to the party. Bwala has filed a suit marked CV/2009/2023 before a Federal Capital Territory High court, requesting an order compelling the APC and its chairman to pay the debt and an additional N25 million as the cost of the suit.

He also requested the court to order the defendants to pay 10 percent interest on the judgment sum until it is fully liquidated. According to the court documents, Bwala handled nine cases for the APC in various states and has only been paid N15 million out of a total sum of N135 million. Bwala was previously a member of the APC before defecting to the PDP.
