Two church leaders abducted in Ogun have been released. These are the items collected by the kidnappers before freeing their victims

The two worshippers abducted last Monday by gunmen at the Celestial Church of Christ, Oshofa, Wasimi, in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, have been released. Founder of the church, Oluwatomisin Olugbebi, said the victims were released on Saturday. It would be recalled that gunmen, who wore masks and fez caps, invaded the church and abducted the Assistant Shepherd (assistant pastor) of the parish, Oluwaseun Ajose, and a Sunday school teacher, Dagunro Ayobami. Five killed in Anambra as gunmen, IPOB members clash

Five gunmen have been killed during a shootout with suspected members outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Akwa Community in Ihiala Local Government of Anambra State. Abducted Anglican Bishop, wife, driver regain freedom

Anglican Bishop of Jebba Diocese, Kwara State, Oluwaseun Aderogba, his wife and driver who were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday night have been released. Gunmen abduct two worshippers from Ogun church

Some gunmen have invaded the Celestial Church Christ, SBJ Oshofa at Wasimi in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, and abducted two worshippers. Gunmen abduct Anglican bishop, wife, driver in Oyo

Anglican Bishop of Jebba Diocese, Kwara State, Oluwaseun Aderogba, and his wife have been abducted by gunmen. His driver was also said to have been kidnapped alongside the couple who were traveling on the new Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway in Oyo State. The bishop and his wife were said to be traveling to Kwara State when their car developed a fault at a lonely section of the road at around 8:30pm on Sunday. Killers of Afenifere leader, Fasoranti’s daughter sentenced to death

Three persons involved in the killing of Olufunke Olakuri, daughter of Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, have been sentenced to death by hanging. They were sentenced by an Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure. Presiding Judge, William Olamide, however, discharged and acquitted the fourth suspect, Auwàla Abubakar, who is the spokesman of Miyetti Allah. Terrorists kill 25 in Borno community

Members of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) have reportedly killed 25 scavengers, otherwise known as ‘Yan Ajakuta’, in Dikwa LGA of Borno state. Police recover explosives after Owo Catholic Church massacre

Survivors of an attack by unknown assailants on a Catholic church in Nigeria lay weeping and writhing in pain at a local hospital on Monday after suffering what a doctor described as lacerations, bullet wounds and blast injuries.
