Anambra guber: Soludo in early lead as APGA sweeps all 5 LGs announced so far

Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has won five Local Government Areas in the ongoing governorship election. The local governments are Awka South, Onitsha South and Enugu Anambra East, Anaocha, and Anambra East. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Sunday for the final collation of the election. There are 21 LGAs in Anambra but only the results of four have been announced at LG collation centers and it has been a clean sweep for the candidate of the ruling party in Anambra. Meanwhile, the election was marred by voter apathy, vote-buying, late arrival of materials and the malfunction of the BVAS machine. Northern leaders file suit to compel FG, N’Assembly allow Southeast secede from Nigeria
