If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures ~ Job 36:11.

Introduction:

Every believer in Christ Jesus is a candidate for unending breakthrough. All things needed for this have been amply provided for, whether tangible or intangible, and they are ours (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). Undoubtedly, the end-time Church is a Church programmed for glory, honor and majesty; a Church to be envied, and not to be pitied.

Most certainly, God takes no delight in the stagnation of His people. In Deuteronomy 1:5-8, He expressly charged Israel in this regard, saying: “ye have dwelt long enough in this mount…go in and possess the land”. There is always a next level of breakthrough for God’s people, but we must let this fact settle in our minds to partake of it.

God commanded the children of Israel to march straight into their Promised Land, Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. The exodus was suddenly engineered by God’s strong arm against the backdrop of the many generations of Pharaoh’s brutality in Egypt where the Israelites were made to serve with great toil and rigour. No doubt, the exodus was a supernatural breakthrough par excellence.

God saw that the Israelites were no longer in Egypt when He spoke those words to them, but He also knew they had not yet gotten to where He had in mind for them. They were not where they used to be, in captivity, oppression and shame, but they were also not yet where they ought to be. Hence, the command for a forward march!

To get to the top, we must set ourselves on constant journeys of faith. Getting to the top in life will not call for less. No matter what we have achieved in life, we cannot afford just to be coasting along. We must never rest on our oars, but journey constantly on our pathway to breakthrough.

God considered it so important for His people to progress  that He even backed it up with a law (Deuteronomy 1:5). It is tantamount, therefore, to a spiritual crime of personal injury if, peradventure, we reject progress or refuse supernatural breakthrough as God offers it.

Oftentimes, supernatural majesty is borne out of constant improvements on the tasks at hand. Perhaps you are not yet where you ought to be right now, but that does not mean you won't arrive there if you determine to keep at it through a constant motion of excellence. Notwithstanding, all those who aim for the top must strive to obtain the breaker's anointing, and choose to maximize the grace it provokes.

Engaging the Breaker’s Anointing Through Service

There is no substitute for the anointing of the Holy Spirit in all realms of human affairs. It is the only remedy against stubborn afflictions, reproaches and frustrations, and the only language that yokes, in all their forms, understand and will ever readily obey (Isaiah 10:27).

Once any believer receives the breaker's anointing, God automatically resets and redefines every detail of his life. The Lord also champions his cause, and orders his steps to breakthroughs (Psalms 37:23). Even angels receive briefs to favour him (Psalms 91:11-12).

Any man with breakthrough anointing is approved to win any day, and he becomes an astonishing miracle everywhere, cruising unhindered on the pathway to the top.

However, the atmosphere suitable for the anointing must be cultivated. It does not just jump on people; the stage must be set for it, and a pure covenant relationship with God is a major prerequisite for the breaker's anointing.

Nevertheless, all relationships thrive on the principles of deposit and withdrawal (John 8:28). As such, obedience to the Lord, genuine worship, royal services and sacrificial giving towards His cause must be on the table if we hope to maintain our covenant relationships with God. However, of all these, kingdom service is an unmistakable prerequisite for a breakthrough life.

It was genuine kingdom service that brought and even stabilized the anointing upon David (Psalms 89:20-22). God demands it as a test of love and obedience from His people; hence, it is a very critical qualifier for supernatural breakthroughs on earth.

The Bible emphasizes that we are saved to serve God (Exodus 4:23; 7:16; 8:1; Luke 1:74). Therefore, it runs ultra vires, and becomes inconsistent with the purpose our redemption and a great abuse for divine wisdom if a man is saved and yet ignores or lightly esteems God’s call for kingdom services.

Of a truth, when we serve God, we are also serving ourselves. On the fields of kingdom service, our needs are met and our horns are exalted as well (Numbers 18:21). Moreover, we become living-proofs of God's mercy as He pays us wages in the supernatural coins of His kingdom (Exodus 23:25; Mark 16:15-20).

Yes indeed, the foundation of wealth could be filthy for those who walk in sin and dwell in filth. But, those who choose God, the Unfailing Source, as their firm foundation, and who are actively engaged in kingdom services, He automatically fits to enjoy pure, wholesome and wholistic breakthroughs.

In God’s kingdom businesses, reapers don’t ever lose their wages (John 4:35-36). God is not a User, He's a blesser and a Rewarder of seekers who diligently serve Him.

We should endeavor, therefore, to serve God with all that we are and all that we have. And, we must arise in earnest and do so wholeheartedly, today. Whenever we serve God cheerfully with our time, talents, treasures, influences and positions, He crushes the barriers on our paths to greatness.

Happily, we have a very clear pattern from our Lord Jesus Christ that we can follow in this regard. Before His exaltation, Jesus made Himself of no reputation and, with deadly obedience, He took up “the form of a servant” (Philippians 2:7).

Never doubt it: the way of divine exaltation is the way of humble service unto the Lord. What matters most to God is your service to His kingdom, and He records all our kingdom works on earth. Hence, whenever the devil finds that his chances are slim to completely disable you from kingdom service, he attempts to dissuade you from going very far in it (Exodus 10:24).

Brethren, please keep in mind that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Universal Breaker of all stubborn yokes and barriers to breakthroughs (Micah 2:13; Matthew 1:3). He broke through all the troops of hell, disarmed and despoiled all principalities and powers, and vanquished all the enemies of God and man: sin, Satan, death, poverty, etc (Colossians 2:14-15).

Friends, let’s be eternally loyal to Christ, abiding in Him and remaining faithful in His royal services, so the Holy Ghost will break out to take us on. Then, our breakthrough will be fully guaranteed and clearly manifest for all to see. Yes, your tomorrow will come; only remember that it actually starts today. Happy Sunday!
