Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again lamented worsening insecurity in the country, particularly killings and kidnappings in the North, adding that President Muhammadu Buhari had no solutions to the nation’s security challenges.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement, said the opposition party was grieving over the pain and anguish Nigerians had been subjected to following the failure of the Buhari administration to provide adequate security for citizens despite the huge resources at its disposal.

He said, “The Federal Government has failed to exert enough commitment to protecting lives of Nigerians and curb the bloodletting and kidnapping of compatriots in Zamfara, Borno, Yobe, Kogi, Kaduna, Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau, Bauchi and other states. We have been proved right that Mr Buhari and APC do not believe in their campaign promises.

“PDP notes that by every indication, the Buhari-led Federal Government has no solution to the security challenge bedeviling our nation, which has festered under its incompetent watch.”
