Bandits kill businessman, kidnap 13 family members on Kaduna highway

Suspected bandits have killed a 53-year-old baker, Tijani Amedu, and abducted his 13 relatives, who are mainly children, travelling alongside him, in the Katari area of Kaduna State. Kidnappers demand N135m ransom for travelers abducted on Benue highway

About 45 passengers in three fully loaded 15-seater commercial buses are reported to have been abducted by armed men in Orokam, along the Otukpo-Enugu Road in Ogbadigbo Local Government Area, LGA, of Benue state. Bandits kill seven in fresh attacks on highway, community in Benue

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited Betta Edu, minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation, to its headquarters for investigation.
