Not fewer than 10 persons have been killed in an attack in Mandung-Mushu and Kopnanle villages of Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The attack began at about 10pm on Friday after the villagers had retired for the day. It lasted for about two hours. Kano State government has filed an eight-count charge against Abdullahi Ganduje, former governor of the state, for allegedly collecting $200,000 from a contractor. Gunmen have reportedly abducted a yet-to-be-confirmed number of students along the east-west road in the Ughelli area of Delta state. The students were coming from Calabar, Cross River capital, when their Sienna vehicle was attacked Friday evening. Bright Edafe, Delta police spokesperson in Delta, confirmed the incident on Monday. The case with the number FHC/ABJ/CR/111/2024 was filed at the federal high court in Abuja.
