Oyo, Osun discover 97 bank accounts operated by LAUTECH

Funmi Olaitan, Ibadan Oyo and Osun States who are owners of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have said 97 different bank accounts being operated by the management of the institution have been discovered against the earlier directive of Single Treasury Account (TSA) policy specifically put in place to promote transparency. The discovery, the two states said, was based on the visitation panel report which submitted its report recently and insisted on forensic audit of the accounts of the institution. 28% fails Bar exam, as Law School releases results

Nigerian Law School has released summary of the final examination results conducted from April 22 to 28. Director-General, Nigerian Law School, Mr Olarewaju Onadeko, (SAN), made this known in a statement on Saturday in Bwari, FCT. He said that 2,125 students participated at the examinations while 1,393 were successful. According to him, candidates with conditional Pass are 196, while 596 failed. Here are details of FG's Paris Club refunds to states

The federal government has finally released a breakdown of the first tranche of Paris Club refunds paid to states to date. The payments, totalling N516.38 billion, were made to the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory upon the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari on November 21 2016, a statement by Salisu Danbatta, director of information in the Ministry of Finance said.
