Nigerians can't have more than 4,600MW electricity for now - GenCos

Association of Power Generation Companies, APGC, Thursday, said it has the capacity to generate 12,000 MW to reduce the electricity needs of Nigerians. Buhari constitutes board of Solid Minerals Development Fund

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday in Abuja approved the constitution of the Board of Solid Minerals Development Fund. Lagos airport records second accident in 48 hours

Less than 48 hours after an Aero Contractor aircraft was engulfed in smoke while trying to land at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, another accident occurred at the airport on Thursday when two aircraft belonging to Air Peace collided while trying to manoeuvre their way around the tarmac of the local terminal. Nigeria Customs Service on Thursday announced a major re-shuffle of its management, as Comptroller-General, Hameed Ali, approved the immediate redeployment of 48 Comptrollers of the Service. NOI polls: Buhari’s performance rating improves

President Muhammadu Buhari’s performance rating has increased by five points, according to a poll conducted by NOIPolls. 745 so far dead in meningitis outbreak - Officials

Health officials say Nigeria's meningitis outbreak has killed at least 745 people as of Monday. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says 8,057 suspected meningitis cases have been reported. Most have been located in the northern states of Zamfara, Katsina, Kebbi, Niger and Sokoto since the disease surfaced in December.
