Oluwatoyin Salau, a 19-year-old protester who begged for justice in the wake of Black lives lost, has died. Her family confirmed the death Monday morning. Salau was found dead Saturday night after she went missing more than a week ago, on June 6, family members told the Tallahassee Democrat of the USA TODAY Network. Death rates are 12 times higher for Coronavirus patients with chronic illnesses than for others who become infected, a new U.S. government report says. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report released Monday highlights the dangers posed by heart disease, diabetes and lung ailments. These are the top three health problems found in Covid-19 patients, the report suggests. US fighter jet crashes in North Sea

A US F-15 fighter jet crashed in the North Sea off England on Monday and the condition of its pilot is unknown, according to a statement from the 48th Fighter Wing. Darkness persisted across several parts of the country on Sunday as 10 power plants sat idle. Total power generation fell to 2,943.4MW as of 6am on Sunday from 3585.6MW on Saturday, data obtained from Nigerian Electricity System Operator showed. The number of plants shut down increased from eight as of 6am on Saturday to 10 on Sunday.
