Police Service Commission, PSC, said on Sunday that although Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, sometimes disregards its directives, it has no power to discipline him. The commission stated this in a statement by Mr Ikechukwu Ani, its Media, Press and Public Relations Officer. Nigerian Army on Sunday raided the Abia home of leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr Nnamdi Kanu. According to Kanu’s younger brother, Mr Emmanuel Kanu, the soldiers said they were searching for ‘technical items.’ He claimed that the soldiers took away from the house items such as television sets, generator and clothes. Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Sunday, said it would partner with Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct public examination through Computer Based Test, CBT, for Nigerians abroad. The examination board also said universities that charged more than N2,000 from applicants for its post-UTME examination will be made to refund the excess payment.
