Gunmen on Friday evening killed over 15 persons in Garin Baka village in Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State. A distraught villager, Yakubu Garba, told newsmen that the attackers came in while prayers were ongoing at the village mosque and started shooting sporadically, leading to the death of 15 persons. Gunmen have kidnapped no fewer than nine residents from Grow Homes Estate along Kuchibiyi in the Kubuwa area of the Federal Capital Territory. Islamist militants have killed at least 25 people in an attack in a fishing town in Borno state, police and residents said on Thursday.
