Gunmen have abducted six pupils of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Primary School in Alwaza, Doma LGA of Nasarawa. The gunmen were said to have attacked the school at about 7am on Friday. Rahman Nansel, police spokesperson in the state, confirmed the development. Nansel added that a search-and-rescue operation is ongoing . “Confirmed. 6 were abducted. They invaded the school at about 0710hrs. Search and rescue ongoing and led by the CP as he has met and commiserated with the parents of the victims,” he said via text message. Gunmen, suspected to be members of militia of herdsmen, have wiped off a family of six; the man, his wife and four children, in a fresh attack on Abagana community, in Makurdi Local Government Area, (LGA), of Benue state. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has announced the interception of hard drugs, Military and Police hardware at the cargo section of the domestic wing of the Muritala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos. Gunmen have abducted five women from Dan Mai-Tsuani community in Kankara LGA in Kastina state. Confirming the attack, Gambo Isah, police spokesperson in the state, said the assailants stormed the village around 7am on Sunday and kidnapped the victims on their way to church. Chris Nehikhare, Edo state commissioner for communication and orientation, says 32 intending passengers were kidnapped at the train station in Igueben, on Saturday.
