Nigeria lost more than $2 billion to oil theft during the first eight months of this year, an investigation by the country's Senate found on Tuesday. Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) says two medical doctors have been abducted by gunmen in Cross River. Gunmen kill ex-Commissioner, brother, 3 policemen in Enugu

ISWAP bans Naira as currency for payment of taxes and levies imposed on residents of occupied Nigerian territories

Shura Council of the Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP) has banned naira as a means of transaction for the illegal tax it collects from peasant farmers and fishermen.
