Gunmen abducted 15 students and four staff members from an agricultural college in Zamfara state, police said on Monday, the latest in a spate of mass kidnappings across Africa’s most populous country. Bandits kill mother, baby, 11 others in another attack on Zamfara community

A mother and her infant baby have been identified among 13 persons killed on Sunday by suspected armed bandits in Randa in Dansadau district of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state. Six workers are feared to have been killed in Imo, following an attack by gunmen on an oil facility managed by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in the state. Five persons have been confirmed killed and nine houses burnt in a fresh attack on Madamai village of Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State by yet to be identified assailants. Two killed, vehicles destroyed as hoodlums block Plateau highway

At least two people were killed when hoodlums blocked Gada-Biyu Highway in Jos, Plateau State capital, Tuesday night.
