Nwokorie Anthony, an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been shot dead in Imo State. The official was killed during the Continuous Voter Registration Exercise (CVR) exercise in Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of the state. Hoodlums numbering over 30 disrupted proceedings in the hearing of a suit into the disputed ward, local government and state congresses of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the Bayelsa State High Court.
