Ekiti gov tests positive for coronavirus

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Kayode Fayemi, has tested positive for Covid-19. Fayemi disclosed this Wednesday morning on Twitter. “I took my third Covid-19 test yesterday and it came back positive. I’m generally ok and I’m already self-isolating at home and receiving the best of care from my medical team. I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home. United Arab Emirates orders Nigerians with expired visas to leave, gives deadline

United Arab Emirates has ordered Nigerian citizens living in the country whose visas had expired to leave before August 17, 2020 or face the wrath of the law. Customs makes new appointments, promotes 2,634 officers

Nigeria Customs Service Board (NCSB), yesterday, approved the appointment of five Assistant Comptrollers General (ACG) of Customs and the promotion of 2,634 Officers. Buhari seeks Reps approval for 2021-2023 Medium Term Expenditure

President Muhammadu Buhari has written House of Representatives for approval for 2021-2023 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper. FG recorded N1.46tn revenue deficit in Q1 - CBN

Gross federally-collected revenue fell by 36 per cent or N1.46tn below the quarterly budget estimate in the first quarter of 2020.
