No guarantee Buhari’ll return Saturday from London medical trip - Presidency

The Presidency said it cannot guarantee that President Muhammadu Buhari will return from his current four-day medical trip to London on Saturday as scheduled. Nigerian migrants sue Italy for aiding Libyan coast guard

Nigerian migrants who survived a deadly sea crossing last year filed a lawsuit against Italy for violating their rights by supporting Libya's efforts to return them to North Africa, their lawyers said on Tuesday. Nigeria military rescue 1,000 Boko Haram hostages

More than 1,000 people held captive in northeastern Nigeria by the jihadi group Boko Haram have been rescued, Nigeria's military said Monday. The hostages, which consisted mainly of women and children, were rescued from four villages in Bama area of Borno State, military spokesman Mr Texas Chukwu said. Spain rescues Nigerians, other migrants crossing Mediterranean Sea

Spain's maritime rescue service said Sunday that it saved 476 migrants who were attempting the perilous crossing of the Mediterranean Sea from African shores.
