Gunmen, suspected to be members of militia of herdsmen, have wiped off a family of six; the man, his wife and four children, in a fresh attack on Abagana community, in Makurdi Local Government Area, (LGA), of Benue state. Gunmen have abducted five women from Dan Mai-Tsuani community in Kankara LGA in Kastina state. Three vigilante operatives were, on Thursday, killed when gunmen bombed headquarters of Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, southeast Nigeria. Gunmen who abducted 31 Edo train passengers on Saturday have allegedly demanded N620m ransom for their release. Chris Nehikhare, Edo state commissioner for communication and orientation, says 32 intending passengers were kidnapped at the train station in Igueben, on Saturday.
