Bandits wipe off family of six, kill others in fresh attack on Benue community

Gunmen, suspected to be members of militia of herdsmen, have wiped off a family of six; the man, his wife and four children, in a fresh attack on Abagana community, in Makurdi Local Government Area, (LGA), of Benue state. The suspected herders also reportedly killed many others and injured several persons during the attack. Customs seizes military hardware, illicit drugs at Lagos airport

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has announced the interception of hard drugs, Military and Police hardware at the cargo section of the domestic wing of the Muritala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos. Gunmen burned a Catholic priest to death and shot and injured his colleague in northcentral Nigeria on Sunday, police said, the latest violence raising concerns about security ahead of an election next month. Gunmen have abducted five women from Dan Mai-Tsuani community in Kankara LGA in Kastina state. Gunmen bomb Anambra LG secretariat, kill three vigilante operatives

31 victims remain with Edo train station kidnappers as police arrest one suspect

Chris Nehikhare, Edo state commissioner for communication and orientation, says 32 intending passengers were kidnapped at the train station in Igueben, on Saturday.
