Court sentences Adedoyin to death by hanging for Adegoke’s murder

Osun State High Court has found the popular hotel owner, Ramon Adedoyin guilty in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke, a former master’s degree student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, whose death occurred between November 5 and 7, 2021, at Hilton Honours Hotel, Ile-Ife. Osun Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo, while delivering her judgement on the case, held that the circumstantial evidence available to the court, pointed to the killing of Adegoke while being a guest at the hotel owned by Adedoyin. No fewer than nine farmers were killed by bandits at Unguwar Danko near Dogon Dawa village in Birnin Gwari Area of Kaduna State. Police confirm 87 killed, 39 injured in Plateau massacre

After stalling for days, Plateau state Police Command on Friday said 87 people were killed in Tuesday’s attack on villages in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. Gunmen kill 6 policemen, 33 others in attacks on Kebbi, Zamfara communities
