The Army was called in to disperse protesters at the National Assembly yesterday. The Shi’ites group converged on the National Assembly to protest continued detention of their leader, Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky. Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) has queried the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola over the award of 10 road and bridge contracts worth N166 billion.
