Oyo State government has announced measures that are in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in schools, insisting that each pupil must come to school wearing face-mask. Doctors at Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja, Kogi state, have embarked on an indefinite strike. Rising from a meeting on Wednesday, the doctors said their lives were being threatened because of the state’s “poor” management of Covid-19 pandemic. Management of Kano State Internal Revenue Service has sacked 368 employees, comprising 308 workers and 60 consultants. With a streak of stepped-up enforcement policy on immigration reduction for 15 years, the United States has deported about 3,019 Nigerians after being convicted of a state crime, latest data from the country’s Department of Homeland Security shows.
