Nigeria’s electricity grid collapsed on Friday afternoon after it had earlier witnessed an intense disruption the preceding day following the industrial action by electricity workers across the country. Different power distribution companies stated on Friday that the grid collapsed again after workers had suspended their industrial action. FG directs Turkish Airlines to suspend Nigerian operations

Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) thursday directed Turkish Airlines to suspend its operations into Nigeria, pending when it meets the conditions set for it. NCAA noted that the airline would henceforth cease to operate, pending when it is ready to fly with the right size of aircraft that could transport all passengers with their baggage at the same time. Nigeria’s electricity workers have suspended a strike that engulfed a major part of the country in darkness for a little more than 24 hours. Nationwide blackout as electricity workers go on strike

Workers in the electricity sector have made good their threat to cripple operations as it embarked on an indefinite nationwide strike yesterday. US seizes jet of Nigerian ‘involved in multi-million dollar fraud’

The US federal authorities have seized an aircraft belonging to a Nigerian facing multi-million dollar fraud charges in the country. Buhari drops Banire, appoints new AMCON chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari, has appointed a Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Edward Adamu, as the new Chairman of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). Adamu, replaces the erstwhile Chairman, Mr Muiz Banire who was appointed in July 2018 and was only confirmed in October of the same year.
