Zamfara gov shuts down school, suspends workers for throwing pages of Qur’an in toilet

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara has sent all staff of Shattima Model Primary School, Gusau, on an indefinite suspension following the desecration of the Holy Qur’an in the school. The school has also been shut pending a full investigation by the state Basic Education Commission, said a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday by Mr Yusuf Idris, Director-General, Press Affairs to the governor. Relief as Nigeria secures ‘stay of execution’ on $9.6bn judgement

UK Commercial Court has granted Nigerian government’s application for a ‘stay of execution’ of a $9 billion judgment debt in favour of the Irish firm, P&ID. FG’s wages to rise by N556bn in three years

If the personnel cost budget of N2.67tn proposed by Federal Government for next year is approved by the National Assembly, then the wage bill of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government will have increased by N556bn in three years from N2.11tn in 2018 to N2.67tn in 2022.
