FG explains taxes on citizens living abroad

Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, on Thursday gave clarifications on federal government’s plan on diaspora taxes. Flames engulf 86-story residential skyscraper in Dubai

A fire broke out after midnight in one of the world's tallest residential towers in Dubai, engulfing part of the skyscraper and sending chunks of debris plummeting below. The Trump administration moved on Thursday to make permanent a new questionnaire that asks some U.S. visa applicants to provide their social media handles and detailed biographical and travel history, according to a public notice. Court sacks all Akwa Ibom council chairpersons

A court in Akwa Ibom State has declared as illegal, local government caretaker committees in the state. The 31 local governments in the state have been run for about two years now by chairpersons handpicked by the state governor, Udom Emmanuel.
