Nigerian Air Force helicopter crashes

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Thursday said its Agusta 109 Light Utility Helicopter crashed while undertaking a liaison mission in the North East. Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, said this in a statement. Adesanya said the helicopter’s target was to further enhance synergy between Nigerian Army and NAF in the ongoing counter-insurgency operations in the North-East. Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has issued fresh standardisation rules, guidelines and registration processes to licensed operators of Computer Based Test, CBT, centres to eliminate fraudulent practices in the system ahead of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, examination. Kano State government has renamed its Northwest University as Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano. The Northwest University is one of the two state-owned universities established by Kwankwaso Administration. Students of University of Osun, UNIOSUN, on Wednesday went on rampage in Osogbo to protest the killing of their colleague, Oluwafemi Shonibare, by suspected ritualists.
