Armed men have raided residents of Kiyi town in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), abducting at least four persons. Gunmen on Sunday attacked a police station in Mgbakwu in the Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Bandits kill 13 in fresh Kaduna attacks

Thirteen people have been killed and seven others injured in a series of attacks in Zangon Kataf, Kauru and Chikun local government areas of Kaduna State. Gunmen kill four navy officers, 3 policemen in Anambra

Gunmen on Thursday reportedly killed four naval men and three policemen in different locations in Anambra State. But the state police command said it lost only one cop. Wakili, 2 sons, charged with murder, kidnapping

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ court sitting in Ibadan on Tuesday, ordered that the alleged notorious Ibarapa warlord, Abdullahi Wakili, 70, be remanded in a correctional facility. The police charged Wakili alongside his sons Abu, 45 and Samaila, 27, and Aliyu Manu, 20, with six counts bordering on conspiracy, murder, kidnapping and armed robbery. Gunmen kill retired police chief’s wife in Benue

Eunice, wife of Ibe Aghanya, a retired deputy inspector-general of police, has been killed by unknown gunmen in Benue state.
