At least, 13 people have been killed and many others abducted by bandits in attacks they carried out between Monday night and Tuesday morning in three Katsina State communities, residents reported. Gunmen kill 17 in Katsina communities

No fewer than 17 people have been killed by gunmen suspected to be terrorists in five communities in the Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. It was learnt that the incident occurred on Thursday. According to residents, the gunmen swooped on the communities located in Karfi Ward in a coordinated attack which reportedly began on Wednesday night and extended to the following morning. Police in Oyo State have arrested no fewer than 12 suspects allegedly connected with cases of kidnapping at Onigari in Oluyole Local Government Area on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Okomu Oil Palm Company in Edo State has suspended its operations in the aftermath of an incident described by management as a “terrorist attack”.
