5 killed in fresh clash between cattle herders, farmers in Ogun

At least five persons have been reportedly killed in a fresh farmers-herders clash in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State. Houses, four maize barns, motorcycles, and other valuables were set ablaze in the clash. The clash came barely a year after a similar incident claimed scores of lives in the Yewa axis of the state. Terrorists kill three, burn down houses in Chibok

At least three civilians have been killed when suspected Boko Haram fighters raided a village in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State Friday evening. The insurgent group stormed Kautikari village near Chibok town at exactly 4pm, shooting sporadically and burning down several houses, according to security sources. Boko Haram attacks mobile police training college in Borno

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have attacked the Police Mobile Force (PMF) training college in Limankara, Gwoza, Borno state. According to sources, the insurgents attacked the college around 8pm on Thursday, and some mobile policemen were subsequently reported missing. “They overpowered the policemen and some of them went missing,” a source said. Gunmen abduct Lagos-bound passengers in Imo

There was panic in Obiohuru community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State on Tuesday, when gunmen intercepted a Lagos-bound vehicle and abducted all the passengers. Suspected herders kill five in fresh attack on Ondo community

Five members of vigilante group have been feared killed by herdsmen in Arimojiga Community in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State. Ojonimi Ossai, an official of Shell Petroleum Development Company, has been killed by his abductors. Gunmen on Thursday bombed the Ideato South Local Government Area Police Headquarters in Dikenafai, Imo State. They freed the detainees. Gunmen kill security guards at hydropower plant in Niger state, abduct Chinese expatriates

At least two security guards were confirmed killed on Tuesday as some gunmen abducted three Chinese nationals working at a hydropower plant in Zungeru in the Wushishi local government area of Niger State. Witnesses said the gunmen whisked away the expatriates who were working on a transmission line tower in Gussase village, after a firefight with security agents.
