New members granted waivers, returning executives free to contest in ward congresses - APC

All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the approved schedule of activities and guidelines for the conduct of the party’s nationwide ward congresses scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021. INEC contradicts N’Assembly, says it has capacity to transmit results electronically from all locations in Nigeria

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has the capacity to transmit results electronically, despite the poor conditions in remote areas across the country. It would be recalled that National Assembly blocked the transmission of election results through electoral means in clause 50(2) of the electoral act amendment bill. Ethiopia PM, Abiy Ahmed, wins delayed elections with landslide

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has won the country's delayed elections with an overwhelming majority, the election board said on Saturday. The board said Abiy's Prosperity Party won 410 out of 436 seats, giving him another five-year term in office.
