Gunmen abduct police chief in Edo

Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Police Division, Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq. a Chief Superintendent of Police, has been kidnapped around Ise river along old Auchi-Ekperi-Agenebode road in Edo State. Bandits kill 5, abduct 90 in Niger state communities

Armed bandits laying siege to some villages in Zagzaga community in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State have prevented the people from evacuating the bodies of five vigilantes they killed in the area. Gunmen kill 11 persons in Plateau community

No fewer than 11 persons were reportedly killed on Friday night as Fulani herdsmen attack Ta’agbe village in Miango District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. Bandits kill 7, abduct women, children in Zamfara community

Bandits have reportedly chased residents out of Yan Buki village in Zurmi local government area of Zamfara State. A federal judge in Pennsylvania has sentenced a Nigerian man to more than seven years in prison for conspiring to launder approximately $1.89 million in mail and wire fraud proceeds in a scheme that targeted women. Niger state bans sale of motorcycles to fight banditry

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger state has directed immediate ban on sales of some categories of motorcycles across the state.
