Gunmen kill at least 20 in attack in Sokoto

At least 20 people were killed in Sokoto state when gunmen attacked a market and torched cars, as armed gangs continue to wreak havoc in the northwest part of the country, a state official and local member of parliament said on Saturday. Gunmen kill five policemen in Niger state community

In an attack by gunmen on Tuesday in Pangu community of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger state, five mobile policemen have been reportedly killed. Bandits moving from village to village kill 30, abduct 7 women in Niger state

There has been tension in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State, as villagers around Sarkin Pawa Ward vacate their homes following the invasion of three villages by bandits where no fewer than 30 persons were reportedly killed.
