Heavily armed gunmen raided a jail in Kogi state late on Sunday, blowing up the perimeter fence and freeing 266 inmates - almost everyone in the prison, authorities said. An attack on Apiyejim-Kibori community in Zango-Kataf LGA of Kaduna state has left eleven people dead. The attack came less than 24 hours after the murder of Silas Yakubu Ali, a pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in the same community. Gunmen on Monday abducted four passengers along the Ayetoro Ekiti–Otun Ekiti Road in Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti state.
