Gunmen abducted 15 students and four staff members from an agricultural college in Zamfara state, police said on Monday, the latest in a spate of mass kidnappings across Africa’s most populous country. A mother and her infant baby have been identified among 13 persons killed on Sunday by suspected armed bandits in Randa in Dansadau district of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state. Six workers are feared to have been killed in Imo, following an attack by gunmen on an oil facility managed by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in the state.
