An armed gang abducted students from an Islamic school in the north-central Nigerian state of Niger on Sunday, police and state government officials said. Armed groups carrying out kidnapping for ransom are blamed for a series of raids on schools and universities in northern Nigeria in recent months, abducting more than 700 students for ransom since December. Herdsmen move from one Ebonyi community to another, kill 30

Suspected herdsmen, Sunday attacked and killed no fewer than 30 Ebonyi indigenes in the State. Herdsmen kill nine in Enugu community

No less than nine persons were reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Mgbuji- Ehamufu in Isi-Uzo local government of Enugu state during the weekend. INEC loses another office to arson in Imo

Another building belonging to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was on Sunday set ablaze in Imo State, Nigeria’s South-east. Many officers killed as gunmen bomb Immigration Service HQ in Abia

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) headquarters in Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, has been attacked by gunmen suspected to be members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Bandits kill ten in fresh attacks on Niger state communities
