Former Glencore trader pleads guilty in New York for bribing NNPC officials

A former U.K.-based trader for Glencore Plc pleaded guilty on Monday over what U.S. prosecutors called his role in a scheme to bribe officials in Nigeria in exchange for favorable contracts from that country’s state-owned oil company. One killed in attack on Ibadan Shoprite Mall

Hoodlums reportedly killed one person while many others were wounded when they attacked Shoprite Mall on Ring Road, Ibadan, on Sunday night. Bandits detain man who took N30m ransom to them for abducted Niger state pupils

Bandits, who abducted 138 pupils of Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, Tegina, in May in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger state, have seized a man sent to deliver N30 million as another installment of the ransom they demanded from the parents. Bandits ambush policemen, kill 13 in Zamfara

Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the killing of 13 cops, saying that it has intensified efforts to arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
