IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu makes first public broadcast, says he’s ‘coming back with hell’

Kaduna metropolis deserted as El-Rufai imposes 24-hour curfew

Kaduna State Government on Sunday imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna town and its envrions. Ex-CJN Kutigi dies in London

A former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mr Idris Kutigi, died in a London hospital on Sunday after a brief illness, his eldest son, Sani Kutigi has confirmed. The younger Kutigi confirmed the death in a telephone interview with with our correspondent in Minna on Sunday. “We are making arrangements to transport our father back for burial,” he said. Trump to pull US from Russia missile treaty

Governing Council of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) has released a list of infractions that eventually prompted Thursday’s indefinite suspension of embattled Executive Secretary of the Scheme, Mr Usman Yusuf. Executive Secretary of National Health Insurance Scheme, Mr Usman Yusuf, suspended indefinitely by the governing council of NHIS on Thursday, resumed work on Friday, ignoring resolution of the council. Train mows down crowd at India festival, at least 60 dead

A speeding train ran over a crowd watching fireworks during a religious festival in northern India on Friday evening, killing at least 60 people and injuring dozens more, police said.
