Buhari signs five new Bills into law

President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to five bills, including Extradition (Amendment) Act 2018, Federal Capital Territory Appropriation Act, 2018 and Nigerian Centre For Disease Control And Prevention (Establishment) Act, 2018. Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Mr Ita Enang, disclosed this when he addressed State House correspondents in Abuja on Monday. Sagamu-Lagos end of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway project will be completed by 2021, the contractor, Julius Berger, has said. Operations Manager, Julius Berger, Mr Thamm Olaf, told Senate Committee on Works, led by its Chairman, Mr Kabiru Gaya, on Sunday, that the project, which was to be completed in 2017, was stalled due to paucity of funds and the recent expansion. Remains of slain Kaduna monarch buried

Late Agom Adara of Adara Chiefdom, Mr Maiwada Galadima in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been laid to rest at Kachia. It would be recalled that four persons including a policeman were killed along Kaduna/Kachia road by alleged abductors Friday October 19 before taking away the monarch, his wife and driver. Nigerian Army has redeployed some of its officers from Operation Lafiya Dole, Operation Delta Safe, and those that have over-stayed in the Operational Theater, as part of routine posting.
