Makinde to Ajimobi: Stop disturbing me, or I’ll expose your frauds

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Saturday said his government had uncovered N150bn debt within his first 30 days in office. He said more debts were still being collated by government officials which would be made public soon. Mr Makinde, who made the revelation during a media chat on Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State to mark his one month in office, threatened to expose his predecessor, Mr Abiola Ajimobi, if he continued to disturb his administration. Abuja division of Court of Appeal has ordered President Muhammadu Buhari to within 5 days respond to the appeal challenging his educational qualification for 2019 presidential election. Several officials who said they were deployed as electoral officers by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for 2019 presidential election said they transmitted results electronically to a ‘central server’ through smart card readers. Political parties to reach 200 by 2023 - INEC

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said Nigeria may go into 2023 General Elections with over 200 political parties on the ballot papers and result sheets. INEC received N1.47 billion for servers ahead of 2019 election

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) received N1.47 billion to replace and maintain computer servers for use during 2019 general elections, PREMIUM TIMES has confirmed. It is not clear though how the servers, which store computer data, were used during the polls.
