Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has said it will today (Wednesday) give judgement on the challenge by PDP against President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election. Outcome of the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Mr Atiku Abubakar, is the most anticipated amongst several legal cases arising from the February 23 election. “Presidential election petition tribunal: Please be informed. Former Imo state governor and senator representing Imo West, Mr Rochas Okorocha has said his support for Presidential Muhammadu Buhari ambition in 2015 and membership of All Progressives Congress earned him the scorn of people of Southeast geopolitical zone. Mr Musa Wada has emerged candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the November 16 governorship election in Kogi State. Chairman of the governorship primary election committee, Mr Ahmadu Fintiri, told reporters on Wednesday in Lokoja that Wada emerged by polling 748 votes to beat 12 other aspirants. Bayelsa election: David Lyon wins APC primary

Mr David Lyon of All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged winner of the just concluded governorship primary in Bayelsa. He scored 42,138 votes to defeat his closet rival, Diseye Nsirim, who scored 1,533 votes. Others are Heineken Lokpobiri, who scored 571 votes, Preye Aganaba, 354 votes, Amgbare, 633 votes, while Maureen Etebu scored 564 votes.
