Oshiomhole, Obaseki differ as police suspend APC rally in Edo

Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu, has directed the immediate suspension of the proposed mega rally billed to be held today in Benin by a faction of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State backed by the National Chairman, Mr Adams Oshiomhole. General election 2019: Voters set to head to polls across the UK

UK will go to the polls on Thursday (today) for the country's third general election in less than five years. The contest, the first to be held in December in nearly 100 years, follows those in 2015 and 2017. Poverty makes rigging difficult to eliminate - European Centre

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it has challenges prosecuting electoral offenders. Candidate of All Progressives Congress in the Kogi West senatorial district election, Mr Smart Adeyemi, has defeated Mr Dino Melaye of Peoples Democratic Party. Osinbajo’s sacked aides barred from Aso Villa

State Security Service (SSS) has withdrawn access tags from 35 aides of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who were affected by the controversial dismissal earlier this month.
