Lanlehin accuses Makinde of ‘bad faith,’ withdraws from coalition

Governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Mr Olufemi Lanlehin, has withdrawn from the coalition that helped Governor Seyi Makinde of Peoples Democratic Party to victory at the election in March. Lanlehin announced his withdrawal in a statement he made available to journalists on Tuesday in Ibadan, the state capital. We have over 400 witnesses against Buhari’s election - PDP

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it has over 400 witnesses to present at the election petition tribunal where its challenge of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection is being heard. The party’s lead counsel, Mr Levi Uzeugwu, said this in response to a question by the tribunal chairman, Mr Mohammed Garba, on Monday. Makinde to Ajimobi: Stop disturbing me, or I’ll expose your frauds

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Saturday said his government had uncovered N150bn debt within his first 30 days in office. He said more debts were still being collated by government officials which would be made public soon. Several officials who said they were deployed as electoral officers by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for 2019 presidential election said they transmitted results electronically to a ‘central server’ through smart card readers. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said Nigeria may go into 2023 General Elections with over 200 political parties on the ballot papers and result sheets.
