APC justifies CJN’s trial, says PDP always defends corruption

All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed the planned arraignment today of Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mr Walter Onnoghen and accused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being sympathetic to corruption for calling against the plan. Onnoghen is set to be arraigned by Code of Conduct Bureau at the Code of Conduct Tribunal on a six-count charge of alleged false asset declaration. INEC rules out electronic transmission of results

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it would only do a nationwide pilot electronic transmission (e-collation) of results in the forthcoming general elections. INEC Chairman, Mr Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this in his opening remarks at the Commission’s regular quarterly meeting with the media on Tuesday in Abuja. Court nullifies all APC primaries in Rivers, stops party from 2019 elections

A federal high court in Port Harcourt on Monday nullified both the direct and indirect primaries conducted by two factions of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
