There were strong indications on Saturday evening that Senate would, this week, begin the process to override President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to withhold his assent to 2018 Electoral Act amendment bill. A former Speaker of House of Representatives, Mr Ghali Na’abba, has resigned his membership of All Progressives Congress (APC). Na’abba, from Kano State, was speaker between 1999 and 2003.
