Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday denied a report which indicated that he had dropped his support for Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Atiku Abubakar. National Christian Elders Forum, led by a former Minister of Defence, Mr Theophilus Danjuma and Mr Solomon Asemota, will meet on Monday (today) to take a position on whether or not it should endorse a presidential candidate among the ‘new entrants’ for 2019 elections. There were strong indications on Saturday evening that Senate would, this week, begin the process to override President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to withhold his assent to 2018 Electoral Act amendment bill.
