Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos

Labour Party (LP)’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has overtaken his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, Bola Tinubu, in Lagos State with the results of Saturday’s presidential elections declared in 17 out of the 20 local government areas of the state so far. Although Tinubu, a former governor of the state, has won more local government areas, he is trailing behind Obi by 32,442 votes. Peter Obi, Labour Party Presidential Candidate, is leading Atiku Abubakar, his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, with 45,297 votes in results of seven Local Government so far declared at the Plateau State collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Donatus Mathew of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of Saturday’s election for the Kaura federal constituency seat in Kaduna state.
