Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos

Labour Party (LP)’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has overtaken his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, Bola Tinubu, in Lagos State with the results of Saturday’s presidential elections declared in 17 out of the 20 local government areas of the state so far. Although Tinubu, a former governor of the state, has won more local government areas, he is trailing behind Obi by 32,442 votes. Atiku defeats Tinubu in Buhari’s home state, Katsina

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has defeated his main rival Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State. FG directs immigration service to shut all land borders

Federal government has ordered closure of all land borders ahead of the general election. Presidential and national assembly elections will hold tomorrow February 25. In a statement on Thursday by Tony Akuneme, spokesperson of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Isah Jere, the NIS comptroller-general, said the border closure will last for 24 hours on election day.
