Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), on Sunday, announced a single seizure of contrabands with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N10 billion. Customs Area Controller (CAC), Mr Usman Yahaya, in a statement in Lagos, said that the seizure made in one day was at Ido, Eruwa Road in Ibadan. Gunmen have killed a member of Bauchi state house of assembly, Mr Musa Baraza, and abducted his two wives and one-year-old daughter. The incident happened at his residence in Dass local government area of Bauchi. Police Command in Niger state says 14 persons have been killed by gunmen at Ukuru Village in Mariga Local Government Area of the state. The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Minna.
