How Boko Haram deceived us before killing over 70 people - Survivor

One of the persons who witnessed the attack on Faduma Kolomdi village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday has narrated how the insurgents deceived villagers before they struck. Recall that over 70 people were killed in the attack. The survivor, who spoke when Mr Babagana Zulum, governor of the state, visited the village on Wednesday, said 81 residents were killed, 13 persons injured and seven others, including village head, abducted. “The insurgents in gun trucks and armored tanks, came around 10am. Over 70 killed as Boko Haram attacks Borno communities

More than 70 persons were reportedly killed after Boko Haram fighters invaded Faduma Koloram village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday. The insurgents, who stormed the village in gun trucks and motorcycles, also carted away many cattle. Customary Court President kidnapped

President of the Customary Court in Taraba State, Mr Donatus Shidda, has been kidnapped. Armed robbers invaded police station, killed 8 officers, one civilian, before robbing bank in Kogi

Nine persons, including eight policemen, were killed in Isanlu, Kogi state, when a gang of suspected armed robbers attacked a branch of first generation bank in the town. Gunmen kill 21 in fresh attacks on Zamfara communities

At least 21 people have been killed by gunmen in separate attacks in Talata Mafara and Maru local Government Areas of Zamfara state, police and residents said.
