Armed men on Saturday killed at least ten people when they attacked Ruwan-Tofa community in Dansadau district of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, residents have said. Maru is the same local government, alongside Talata Marafa, attacked by the armed men on June 2 and 3, during which 21 people were killed. The latest attack was confirmed by the police in Zamfara. Bandits have allegedly killed seven persons in another round of attacks in Kasai and Nahuta villages in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State. Residents said the attacks were carried out Friday night when people in the two communities were about observing prayers. US government has sanctioned six Nigerians over $6 million cyber fraud against its citizens. US secretary of state, Mr Mike Pompeo, disclosed this in a statement published on the department of state’s website, on Tuesday.
